    Talisman Illustrated Guide- Level 50 Stats, Set Bonus's, Tips, and Hints

    Preface:
    There a few Talisman guides out there. This is a compilation of the information contained within those tombs. Alot of people have made contributions to the data, suggestions and pictures. I just sorted, polished and bedazzled it all. Just another sign that WE all have too much time on our hands!     Kulimar's quote is very useful and applies to many Sets. Therefore the sets that immediatly affected are marked with the Accuracy buff.

    These Talismans have known broken mechanics!
    The tips and suggestions contained within reflect that. As with any advice, take with a grain of salt. Especially with these particular ones. It is a good idea to have preparations in order for when the mechanics are fixed.

    Guardian Vs. Strength
    Which one should I use? A rule of thumb that I follow is that unless my ATK is 30%> DEF, I will use a Guardian Set.
    i.e. A Def of 100 will net a bonus of 20 with a Guardian set. To achieve the same bonus with a Strength set, your Atk will have to be 130. Which will net only 19 (rounded down).

    I have limited experience with this one. It does seem to me that this is only useful for Sentinel Tanks. Avoid using with Warriors as 90% of Magus uses Magic and stacking DEF is useless.

    While this may seem good on the surface (the DEF ignore ability proc'd the appropriate percentage), it happened 9 out of 10 times on the last combat round. Since the effect is calculated on the following round, the ability is rendered useless. It is in my opinion better to just stack up atk to power past DEF than to hope this procs at the start of a wave.

    The Sentinel class is all about mitigation of damage. A set of Health (Mystical) Talismans were my first set of Sentinels that I capped. I'm glad I did. Readily usable on any character. A must have to diminish the "Glass Cannon" effect from stacking Warrior Fierce Talismans.

    This is your bread and butter. Before leveling any other Sentinel Talismans, I recommend having at least a full set of capped Overwhelming and Ward. I know this is a contradiction to an earlier statement. The needs of your party and toon should dictate priority of Talisman evolution.
