Noticed a few funny things that have movie type references:
Warrior corrupt rescuer- if you look closely her face is different than her sisters. She has a demon spawn stuck to her face like the movie alien.
Sentinel demon spawn- this big fat green spider looking blob looks kind of like the big fat green spider blob that attacks Flash Gordon in the 70's movie.

Maybe it's not movie related, but Dragon King reminds me of Mouth of Mordremoth from Guild Wars 2 expansion. I mean look at him, and then look at DK
