When I have attacked, I have often won the battle, but in defense, they kick my ass
I know this is controlled by AI, but I want to know if there is any way or strategy to improve the defense in PvP

Assume the AI will always take these stupidest option on every turn, and plan your defence team to minimise the number of stupid actions it can take.
