Magus? The event's over. You could trade them in for precious soul frags, or just hang on to them in hopes of a return event. It might be a long wait though.

So THIS is how some players have characters I've never seen before, because I jsut get the same thing 90% of the time.

You can obtain those characters from other souls too, it's just very difficult.
