Yeah, we're still signing off on some final details before releasing maintenance.

That's definitely the plan, although we're still working on what characters will be rewardable from there, and when (especially since it'll be very difficult for many players to accrue Frontier Coins in any major quantity to begin with).

Side note, just ONCE I’d like to pop into these forums post update and read posts of excitement about cool new content instead of ridiculous bugs that made it through testing. I’d honestly love to know who signs the checks for this game, I’ve got some beautiful oceanfront property in Arizona for sale.

Always a bad idea to put a time frame on maintenance updates Telling users it'll "take an hour" just means at 65 minutes they start complaining

(especially since it'll be very difficult for many players to accrue Frontier Coins in any major quantity to begin with).

Maybe have very small quantities as a reward for playing all troopers on your list? Like a double incentive. Or as a very rare drop from Satellite 15.
