Nice - I pulled a Golden Son (Magus) today.
“Seven deadly sins, seven ways to win, seven holy paths to hell, and your trip begins..."
I just pulled the Sentinel and am trying to figure out which green tailsman (bottom 3 slots are green) to use as he is a magic dealer....
Anyone else draw a Blue Golden Son & notice how he doesn't hit as hard as other blue AOE chars -- for instance, Blue Allied Soldier?
I have BGS & BAS outfitted with roughly equal Magic stats (~1700 on each), but Blue Allied Soldier hits 3x harder than Blue Golden Son against the same enemies (i.e., its not an issue with different MR or class affinity or whatever).
Now, my Golden Son *also* runs w/ a Freeze mod, so he's not exactly useless, but it raises a broader question:
Why would two chars with equal stats and equivalent attack types (AoE magic, no add'l "scales-with" stat specified) inflict *radically* different amounts of damage vs the same enemies?
Seems to me there are other factors that determine damage output than what the info card states, at least for Golden Son.
Can anybody else confirm this? Maybe non-Blue Golden Sons differ? (though I imagine Green GS would be similarly damped since he has same attack as Blue GS)
I guess its magic is divided between heal and damage.
