The question is, more def or more mr? It depends on the other talis, you want to use. You can balance it out with either overwhelming or ward, safeguard and fierce. Choose whatever feels best for you.

Barrier = DEF +
Shield = MR +
Other than that they are the same.
So your call.. need more magic resistance or physical resistance? Has a lot to do with other talismans you put on him.-----------------------------

Ideally you balance MR and Def if u can but a lot of hard hitters you go up against have true damage making it moot really.
