There have been a few times recently when I've had (sometimes multiple) characters killed in PVP by an attack that has a *chance* of inflicting permadeath, but as the character is killed there wasn't time for an icon to appear - I then often gamble Pharaoh's resurrection to find that the one character I really wanted to revive was permadeathed and I could have used the turn to give my remaining characters invincibility or whatever...

Is there any way that a marker could be put down when characters die under permadeath? A small skull over where they were stood or something similar would be very useful.
