I guess no one played Marvel Contest of Champions.... It took me like 3 or 4 months to get a 4* there and you can't rank them there. That game had a lot more content, that's for sure.

I don't know guys, there are not many 5*s right now. I think the 5* drop rates are ok (don't hate me).

Let's be reasonable for a moment.

Right now there are at least 4 or 5 "basic" characters that are way better than 5*, and the game let's you take them to lvl 100, evo shards drop rates is another topic.
I DO AGREE that Legendary Souls should guarantee a 5* but asking for free 5* for being loyal for TWO months is just ridiculous.

I've worked as a community manager for a long time, maybe that's why I tend to see both sides of this things. This games are not developed for free, the publisher MUST make money in order to keep it alive, although I agree that some of the prices in this game are insanely high, you are still able to rank characters, and that's a supermegabig plus.

Of course we all want an Axis Comm... Corrupt guy, but it shouldn't be easy to get him, and while some people might disagree, it should be almost impossible to get him. The truth is that you don't need him to play the game, you don't even need a 5* to complete the entire game.


Anyways, I'll make some space and add you. Hope my characters can help you with the game.

I don't think anyone seriously meant they should hand out 5* characters like sweeties, but it shouldn't be so bleeding impossible to get the resources to evolve characters if 5* ones are going to be so hard to find. And yeah I know, you CAN get far with a few choice characters. But it makes the game really BORING if we all have to pay with the same characters all the time.

I want to experiment. It's hard to experiment when levelling up is so work intensive and deadly dull.

I did not mean to come across as a whiny b!tch, I realized that I started to make a point in my post and then didn't. That is, having 11.5 4* 80's is MADDENING. Thanks for helping me remember that point Jennie! As I toodle the Rift and SLOWLY accumulate mats, it's like, "OK, which baby gets Mama's love? Holy Smokes Eddie who's been in for the long haul, or Boom Chicken? Would my Troopers like Wickerman more? OMG I DON'T KNOW IT'S TOO MUCH STRESS WHERE IS MY TROOPER BEEEEEERRRRR!!! "

You make solid points Gonzo. I think I get a little pissy when I visit some 5* Trooper pages and see a SLEW of 3* and trash and one 5* DEMI GOD and I'm over here beating my phone screen till I bloody my fingers. Yes, they have dumb luck and THAT SUCKS.

Which makes me agree with JPMusic, I saw your other posts and cried inwardly for you. I should realize from your experience, it can always be worse.

We agree. I said a long time ago, "You either make it hard for people to get 5* characters or you make it hard for people to evolve the ones they already have".

Right now we beleive Time Rifts are not balanced, you need 4* to make 4* and you need 5* to make 5*. I'll try to complete todays Rift without 5*s and see if this can be done.
BUT if it can be done, that's the proof that renders all this kind of discussions obsolete.

We've all been there, and we know how frustrating it can be. We also know that if this kind of posts are created that's because we love the game and want to make it better.
