I guess:
- why? To compensate for the stupid (random) "AI"
- how high? From my experience I would assume +10 to 15% trigger chance for skills. Consider AG: he has 80% chance for stealing power+fury. I have seen him not stealing very seldom (without curr decrease), so it cannot be +20%. Proportion of perfect hits is another thing, but it is ok as you as a player should also have >90% perfect hits. Another thing is the proc chance for talisman...but they are strange anyway in my experience.

I would love to see a good and challenging AI and no defence bonus in turn.

I had not even noticed a probelm as I just dont pay enough attention and I had decided not to do much this week in Arena so I did not play it for a few days after reset - so I had not noticed an issue but noted that I was the lowest I had been in months on Tuesday night. I am just doing a few battles and leaving it to be honest - probably picked a good week not to bother trying for top 250 or top 100 to be honest!

Its been nice to sit low down for a while - allowed me to mess abot with my team when facing mostly easier teams.

Also, when I look at the loot you get for the top 25 or so I am just not sure it is anywhere near worth the effort to be honest. I think I may just drop down a lot and grind away to get my IC. I have a fair number of relics already in any case, not that a few more would not help as some of those top teams are insane...I have settled for a win rate in the high 80%s.

It’s not. They should have spread those rewards out a long time ago. The most appealing thing are the skill shards, but anyone who’s been playing a while already has a good stack of them. The only thing that motivated me was the eternal frags. Once I got all four, I lost interest. And that was a long time ago. I doubt I could get top 25 anymore with my lack of relics anyway.

They’ve invested a ton of effort into a feature that’s not very fun and broken as hell. Players have been trying to tell them what they’d like since the beta, but not much (other than character tuning) has changed. Edit: well, and relics now. But I’m not sure that’s a good change.

Depending on how long it takes you could extend the duration of the event? I was running my last Lillith when the server crashed. Now I have 600 SoT stops until I do not know when ...


It would be so much easier if they warned the maintenance in advance :(

Maintenence should be lifting as I type this, which is when the following hotfix will go live*:

April 12th Hotfix


Fixed an issue where the MAX HP Up status from Piece of Mind Eddie and Warrior Allied Soldier could leave a character with that status with 1 HP.
Fixed an issue where Piece of Mind Eddie’s Disturbance’s Trap positive effect would stun both the character with Trap and the character removing it if the Trap is forcibly removed
Fixed an issue that caused players’ VP to drop or jump dramatically, either at reset or mid-week (Note: this fix is not retroactive)
Fixed an issue where Troopers used with Auto-Replay sometimes weren’t assigned to a team correctly
Fixed an issue which could occasionally case load times for various features to be longer than necessary


*Note: Some of the above fixes require you to have downloaded the newest update from your respective app store, which may take a few hours to propagate.

Yes DEJAVU got the same message from Sam, guess he is not yet getting back to any of us for some form of restitution. I like some iron coins-a legitimate loss of these happened to me and probably you also playing from a very low level getting +10 for MANY fights until score restored and suddenly going from +10 to +15. So missing 5 iron coins er fight for hundreds of fights from the tank to now should give us a claim to a stack of these. Anyone agree?

Yeah it's amounts to less Eternal Frags, less Ironite, and less rare souls here... but again.. it's one week. To be frank, I'm more annoyed by 10 IC matches rather than 12, 13, 15... Give me 30/40 IC and I'd be happy :)

But the more I thought about it I lose out on maybe 500 IC and getting one G/A soul and one skill shard, for people at the high end of the arena we should all have so much what does one soul matter or skill shard or even iron coins for one week matter. We need close to 200K to get all the relics losing out on 500 is less then 1% its like a drop in a bucket. Sometimes it pays to take a step back and just put everything in perspective happy they have this fixed before the arena event kicks off. I wish I had the same positive outlook on it as you. It's not the end of the world for sure, just yet another round of disappointment from NF. My guess is my theory (http://forum.ironmaidenlegacy.com/showthread.php?10019-Score-tanked-on-reset&p=70849&viewfull=1#post70849) or something close to it caused the issue. If that's true, there fix is nothing more than to wait for the reset on Saturday and just let players burn their ironite to climb back up to where they were. It's pretty lame to put the burden on the players for an issue that they caused. Granted, the extra ironite helped but it's partially canceled out by the loss of iron coins and rewards at the end of the week.

What are you trying to say? It's not normal that the enemy CG stubs and freezes all of your team? Is it maybe not normal as well that enemy toons with echo (Red Lilith) often attack 3x in a row?

Same thing happened to me. I have pics but cant load from my phone. There are also a number is issues with Seal right now. Basically it blocks all my buffs and doesn’t block anything on AI defense.

Seems this particular update had many more hotfix issues than the prior updates. Any reason why this update was so bad? I have seen and posted many more bugs this patch brought. Can we get some replies from the Devs in the Bug/PVP/Character discussion. There have been many specific issues in those topics but it seems all the info is being passed in this thread instead.

Something I've noticed with the latest update is that it seems Perfect Corruption can now be cleared by Immunity, despite the fact it's not supposed to according to the wording ("Perfect Corruption blocks all beneficial effects and cannot be cleansed or transferred.").

Will post this over on bug reports too.

well jofer, you have a point there. this was not appropriate. but well, i doubt it's possible to lower the shown level of "smack talk". once someone starts the war, things tend to escalate. shit happends...

that said MSF is awesome, but it's way more PTW than LOTB. i also like the talisman system and the combats here a bit more, although the coinflip to start the battle here is worse for sure. but msf has so many features from the start, which is really cool. hope lotb will learn something from MSF, this game would be awesome if it would have half of the stuff msf has...

I don't think it works like that - it baffled me a while ago as well. I came to the conclusion:

- Prisoner's passive blocks a toon getting a passive unless immunity is on.

It's not just blocking passives it is also blocking receiving passives from others - unless immunity is on.

- Immunity taslimans override Prisoner's passive
- Prisoner's passive overrides immunity granted from passives

I might be wrong bevause the whole thing is so bugged that it could be a bug making me thinking that I'm right ...

yeah i saw the same. gunner lilith has immunity for exampole so she gives immunity to all toons. but the blue lilith which has indirect immunity won't block. so she cannot receive negative effects, but her passive won't work nontheless. maybe a problem in the order how the actions apply..

We have a fix for the following with this hotfix:


Fix for issue where players were getting incorrect VP for winning/losing in the Arena based on the delta between their VP and their opponent's VP


(Note that we are still investigating the issue where victories may occasionally count as losses for VP/Iron Coin purposes.)

The funniest thing just happened. My Piece of Mind Eddie had Doom status and I used his fury move thinking it would remove the Doom. He literally exploded when I pressed the button. I watched his fury animation without him in it. Top side is it still killed the opposing team.

I just "Won" and was rewarded +1 iron coin and docked -18, then turned around and "won" again and this time was compensated correctly. NICE!
