Hi Sparton, now that AoF is giving so many extra turns even when he is dead, why don't you bring back the state where extra turns were granted only when the target was killed.

Hello, I´m Pablo, from Argentina, I think the only issue in pvp would be (at least for me) The Prisioner, because many times when it´s combined with some stunners or taunters, you can´t play directly, and I think thats very unfair. Maybe change the passive of the prisioner in some way?
With the AoF I didn´t have many issues, and either with VHE, it´s very fun to play in the arena.
I don´t have many of the main toons to win up to 95 % and my defense have a 15 % rate but I can play with almost all the teams.

you are very welcome, happy if i'm able to help.but i have another problem to report which is there for more than a year now.
i played red LOL all day and i never got a crash. but then suddenly i got 2 crashes in 4 games. i was discussing that with druid and i think he has a very nice theory.
he told me to check my inventory and i found my 3* red shards were at 995. i have only 40 inventory slots used, so this cannot be a problem (he has 53 used). so very likely the game wasn't able to add more 3* shards because this would split the stack so the result was a maclo12 each time 3* red shards dropped. once i leveled some toons with those shards i was able to play without errors again. i think good old kaijester had this observation over a year ago. it would be cool if you could check and hopefully fix this.
aside this you did a great job with fixing apmas in the arena would it be possible to try the same thing with other errors like maclo? simply let the game try to reload if it's disconnected
and an error appears? this would be really great.
Yes, I've seen very interesting correlations with MACLx errors and inventory limits lately. It happens with runes in BNW and shards in LoL. When I get an error, I have been checking my inventory. Every such time over the past few weeks, I have found a stack of near 999 of something that may have dropped from the run generating the error. When I sell or use that stack down to closer to 900, the errors go away. I've been monitoring this more closely now to ensure I never get within one drop of surpassing 999, and it seems to work. There is something about the new stack creation that can sometimes create problems. Not always, but sometimes.
As a side note, I believe this also explains why MACLx errors became so much less common once the stack max increased from 99 to 999 several months ago.

There's no easymode switch for changing functionality like that; part of the reason his passive has had additional problems lately is knock-ons from fixing other bugs. Reverting that functionality would likely reintroduce many other bugs (or introduce entirely new ones).
The Prisoner has long been a polarizing character in the game, but there's a few handy ways to work around his Passive Disable. I'd recommend looking up other forum threads on the character or making a new thread about that, as I'm sure many players will be happy to share their strategies with you.
Hm, I'm pretty sure I ran into the situation for rolling over a stack past 999 recently and didn't run into that issue, so there may be more to it that causes this problem. Nonetheless, I've passed your report along to our QA to investigate.
Additionally, I had CS have a quick look at your guys' inventories and we noticed an issue that causes you to be unable to sell certain shard/rune stacks that may be related to you guys seeing the MACL12 error. Let us know if you still see it or if that seems to no longer happen for you after this posting.
It depends on the kind of error that's happening. For example, I believe MACL12 errors aren't a connectivity problem, but are due to a problem with getting/applying the quest reward, so the reboot means the game is trying to ensure it's in sync with the server. If we tried to just let the player through with that kind of error (depending on what bug/code path it went through to result in that error), they could lose rewards they should have otherwise earned.
That's different from things like the PVP AMPA3 (a connectivity error code), as those are ones we can let you retry until they work.
Our CS team is working through investigating and gifting according to what is missing.
For anyone with this problem where achievement rewards were missing for a challenge that was claimed, you'll need to sort that out with CS using the in-game Support button.

thanks a lot man, i was able to sell stuff now i wasn't been able to sell for almost a year now. but i never cared that much to write to CS regarding this issue.
will keep you informed with the macl12. i guess i will reach more than 999 3* blue shards tomorrow.
Yes, I have several types of items with a 999 stack plus another stack. So, sometimes the rollover seems to work. Maybe it works if I'm at 999 in a stack and a new stack gets created with the drop, but it fails if I'm at <999 in a stack and the drop puts me over 999. That is, maybe the failure occurs due to having to "write" to two different stacks?
Thanks for the inventory check and fix. In my recollection, I actually have never experienced the selling problem, but I appreciate your help.
Edit: Originally, I was thinking the error occurred when a new stack needed to be created, but the number of stacks was already at its limit. However, I have 51 stacks and slauki had 40 stacks, so something else seems to be at work.
I reached out to support and they helped me with the missing fragments and any other achievements I claimed and did not get the rewards for.
I'm curious as to why skill shards don't stack....
I get a drop of 9 from a vortex fill.. they show up as - 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 2 - rather than just 9. I've actually gotten the "over the limit" message due to this. Forcing me to use a few Skill shards before I could do anything else.
regarding the stack split problems from yesterday:
i watched it closely this time and the game was able to write another stack of 3* shards, despite me having 999. unforunatly i had 992 3* shards and exactly another 7 dropped, so the stack was 100% complete. so i cannot say what would have been if 8 or more dropped. but i will pay more attention to this. will cross another 999 line tomorrow.
so far i can tell: getting more than 999 was not possible yesterday but it is today. we just have to isolate the reason now. either the fixes from CS made it possible or the lucky fact that i filled the first stack up completly, so new drops would open a complete new stack without problems.
It was just "over the limit" on shards, not skill shards specifically. The way skill shards don't stack causes them to take up several slots at once, that can cause the "over the limit" message since you can't expand the shard/stone list at all even if you wanted to.
And will the ridiculous offense bonus be reduced to a not so LOLable level???
It is not just me noticing that there is something wrong.
Example:
Astra on offence can stun ALL toons, my own fully sharded Astra most of the time stuns noone, if then maybe one
Devs - weird bug just popped up in pvp. Was playing when my Astra was killed. Revived her with VHE and none of her attack’s would hit the enemy. Perfect hit it or not every time she attacked it just showed “miss” all over the screen and the enemy took no damage. I revived her twice actually and same thing she could not land a hit.
They were not invincible and negative effects would still proc (permadeath) but no damage.
Luckily I won the match but it took nearly 10 minutes.
Sparton - I just got my first MACL12 since reset on LoL, after dozens of runs. I checked my shard count and was at 993 3* shards in one stack. My belief is that the run generating the error would have dropped >6 of them. This would support the "write to two different stacks" theory.
Well crap. My Tailgunner Eddie disappeared at some point. I know I wouldn't sacrifice a non dupe Eddie. Hopefully I can get him back at some point... I wanted to use him before but now... dang! He could be a beast!
Also, Really excited to see a fix for counter/revenge... By far the worst bug that ever occurred lol

i'm pretty sure macl12 in LOL is related to shard splitting. as i used my red shards game never crashed again. unfortunatly the next two days gave me clean 999 shards, so there was no shard splitting involved. i really wanted to prove this theory, but the game didn't let me this time. next try on sunday... but in fact the only two lol crashes i had, happend as i had 995 3* red shards. and i played A LOT lol this week (11 droids). so very little doubt in this theory.
k, Thanks for the confirmation. I'll work with our QA to ensure a bug is entered in our system to track this; your theory may be right, but it's hard to tell from the transaction history I have access to.

I don't suppose you happen to recall when approximately you tipped over to 999 on a stack, do you? Seeing that in your transaction history may help with eliminating some possibilities for how the bug is occurring.
Just to confirm, did that match conclude around the time you posted that?
Sparton - any chance that we'll see an increase to character slots soon? I know there are some technical issues related to it, and I appreciate the recent increases. But, new characters are coming fast and furious lately.
Yeah, based on my last count (which counts some upcoming characters that aren't available yet), we're at 205 collectable characters, but only 200 max slots. Thankfully, the last increase in max inventory sizes hasn't caused problems so far, so we'll be upping the max character inventory slots you can get in this next update.

Talilgunner Laugh and Roar --- "Ability Skill Level Added" -- Does that mean an additional skill shard for those abilities? Just curious My Tailgunner is maxed.... will it NOT be after the tuning, requiring 2 more skill shards?
Also.. any thoughts on adding to Navigator's Fury? Fury is supposed to be a max hit surpassing all other abilities is it not? Navigator's fury is terribly underpowered.
Spartan not sure if this would be considered giving anything away but do you consider all the idol and hearts as collectible characters? If that's the case we have two new characters coming or if you don't consider that means we have eight on the horizon.
For curiosity, which characters you consider collectable?
Also, will be a fix for counter attacks not triggering shields. Example: I attack with a character who gains void shield for my team, the opposite team has a counter that attacks back, example wrath, when he hits my shield it doesn't remove the beneficial effects from his team. It happens to any shield when is attacked by counters.
i can tell you pretty exactly when that happened because i complained about in on a chat... it was tuesday around 20:30 german time (11:30 pst i think) i had two crashes very close to each other (4 or 5 rounds difference). after that i upgraded 3 toons to L100 and went on farming. game never crashed again since then.
thank god i have a very fast autofarming team and a lot of ironite to burn ;) i rarely refill at all, but this time i needed (or wanted to store) some evo material and figured this might be the right spot to go for it ;)
Yeah, it'll take one more skill shard to max out the indicated skills. The game saves how many skill shards you've invested for any given character, not how far away you are from max level.
A Fury is meant to be something that can cause a turning point in a match, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll always do extremely high damage. In Navigator Eddie's case, his Fury will grant his entire team Class Advantage (which can greatly increase their damage output, depending on the normal class advantages/disadvantages they would have), and will also Blind all enemies to make it more likely they'll have no effect, so it is serving the purpose we intend for him.
I'm considering a "collectable character" as anything you can get in your character inventory that is unique from another character in terms of name, stat scaling at a given rarity, etc.
So yeah, your starting Eddie is a collectable character, the achievement-earnable Grim Reaper Eddie is a collectable character, and pretty much anything you can get from any kind of soul would be considered a collectable character (which includes all different variations of Sacrificial Heart, Strong Sacrificial Heart, etc).
Examples of non-collectable characters would be characters like Horus or the Dragon King (bosses in Kingdom of the Sands and the Brave New World respectively), as they're not collectable at this time.
I believe that's a knock-on due to a fix that stopped infinitely reflecting damage from reflect shields. That still needs to be looked into.
