So... this really isn't anything huge.
Looking forward to see adjustments in gauntlet. Thanks for your listening guys and for some improv to Set which is a great character. Not sure if this kind of nerf to IE ll be enough to detrone from Arena domine.
I disagree, this is a good update for many broken characters as well improvements to some old favorites. I see another shift in the PVP coming.
Iron Eddie finally being nerfed
I was just thinking last night how Kari passive SHOULD affect Exhaust and HP Redux - I am already building a team with her in mind.
Fixing Extra turns for Benji/Set also good though that should be an immediate fix imho.
PDK/PD getting a little love is nice to see and finally
Guantlet changes may have me lean into it a bit more if the changes are right.
I like this update mostly but I would prefer to see some of sooner than later.
I think the only thing that bothers me is seeing Set get 3 purple talisman slots. I'll expect to see a lot of people putting Eclipse talis on Set now.
Yeah good to see IE getting adjusted so he's not a 4 star with 5 star power.. will shake up all the copycat teams in PvP for sure.
Also good to see Set and the Perfect Corruption ignoring immunity getting fixed.
And the new "upon death" talismans look interesting.
Will the broken toon setup be fixed also?
here we go again-- Set change blue Lilith in pvp...
Immunity and Shadow Talismans will keep him both Prisoner-proof and damage proof first round - but after that he only has a 50% chance of getting shroud with his power move.
I think we may see him more on attack teams - with Eclipse Talismans - against teams without Prisoners. He’ll be a beast against those teams...
I was using him on attack for a while and he was okay as is. With the extra turn fixed, he may be better.
Truth was, he does massive damage with Shadow talismans when they kick in, but otherwise he wasn't doing much more than converting those gold buffs. The damage without Shadow boosts was mediocre at best.
Nice that they will change the prices for gauntlet.., but we better wait than to be to excited too...
but i would really like to see fixes like the language in news/drop-rate/.. screen that it is the language you set up in the settings.., some of the devs said months ago they would look for it.., but it's still german even i have the game in english...
The funny thing for the Osiris Event in German is "Opfern Sie Osiris, um ihren Lohn zu erhalten!" -> Sacrifice Osiris.., at first i should GET HIM.., and why should i sacrifice him IF i would get him.., still nothing after 30-40 Offering Souls.., and for all the other 50-70 souls only one new character Doomsday Eddie, what is cool.., but yeah.. :D
and it would be cool if they finally would fix the thing that copies the team from SQs to the cosmos world teams..
and 3 teams for cosmos would be nice than in SQ.., i think noone need them in SQs but in cosmos..,
generally it would be cool if they would fix all the "normal" game features first..,
1 team for looting only, one for leveling.., and maybe one for testing new teams to loot or so..
But nice to see some fixes again. :)
EDIT: I'm testing some new defenses right now.., but i see that my sentinel Lilith doesn't heal sometimes.., i don't know why.., she has no passive block/heal block/etc. active (even with perfect immunity and other golden buffs...), she doesn't heal...
It seems that if i have an Prisoner on Defense and in Attack Team they block her Passive even if she has Perfect Immunity from Primordials from Prisoner.. and all the following turns.., no healing
Please look at it..
No Prisoner in Defense but in Attack Team.., no healing for her in Defense.., even without passvie block on her because of (Perfect) Immunity.
The same thing in the other way..,
The Prisoner blocks her passive even if she has immunity from Gunner Liltih..

I am with Symbiote with the language issue. The translation is poor and if I set my game to english I really would prefer to have everything in english!
The thing with Prisoner blocking passives without showing the debuff symbol is also an important topic. Is it planned to be like that?
Another crucial thing that is not listed is about how counter-attacks deal with shields. If a team has e.g. thorns active, attacks and on the other team a counter triggers, it never applies heal block/permadeath. Same with voids not removing beneficials by a counter attack. This was different a while ago. Are there any plans to go back to that?
Thanks for your answer, Kaz! As you say it needs to be fixed I conclude it is bugged in the moment. But what exactly is bugged? The debuff not showing, or is it the general rule of chronological order of passive application? Example: For the Green Lilith it is impossible to see if the passive works or not. The situation is more obvious e.g. with the Warrior Troll with his shields passive. If the enemy has the Prisoner in the team and I use a char that applies immunity to my team in the first round and I have immunity talis on that char, this - in the moment - leads to the situation that my team has immunity, but there are no shields from the Troll (if I don't use Immunity Talis on him too). Will this stay the same after the fix? Or is the idea that the immunity passive from e.g. the hellhound then prevents the shield passive from the Troll to be blocked in the first round by the Prisoner's passive?
And what about the other topics: Language and Counter issues? The language thing should be easy to fix but what about the counter-shield-interaction? Especially now because of the introduction of Osiris, this would be very important in my opinion!

Destinys will fire if a team mate gets counter attacked and triggers Magus Liliths blocking though. That's what is really confusing.
Another thing is, should damage reflected from shields wake up a toon that is slept? If so, what's the point of sleep?

The way Disable Passive is intended to work is that when the Disable Passive Icon is present on the character, their passive will not work. When it goes away, it should work again. In the case players have immunity from passives or talismans at the start of battle, the Prisoner's Passive Disable effect should not get applies through that immunity. The engineer working on fixing the issue is having to touch and rework a bunch of code related passive vs. talisman order of operation to give designers more explicit flexibility in terms of when effects can apply and in what order, and also fixing the issue of effects not updating immediately in battle in certain cases, like when Passive Disable is removed.
The Language and Counter issues have been reported and logged, but will require some investigation.

Also heal shields seem to continue working (and show the spinning icons around the character -- spinning even where dead characters would be if they weren't dead) after the buff is gone.
You fix sentinel Golden son after one post in the forum? A character that hardly ever someone uses? And what about Death Dog that’s bugged from the very beginning of the game?
Thanks for the insights, Kaz! There really seem to be many fundamental problems with the old codes from the pre-NF time. I still have some hope that this will be resolved in the course of time and wish you every success!
Nevertheless, I have a well-meant hint that new skills and talismans should only be added in the future if they are not explicitly related to known problems. Example: Primordials despite passive-talisman combination problem with the Prisoner and shields should be an effective remedy against counterattacks.
Here is a comment on passive disable that has been previously discussed, but may be confusing to some players. If prisoner disables AoM passive of revive and an opponent is killed, the next killed opponent may be revived. This type of issue may be of concern for other toon passives. When the passive disable icon doesnt appear in play it may cause confusion about unfair AI benefits in the arena. This isn't really a bug but is sometimes hard to understand with all the buffs given with the recent toon/talis addition.
There have been several attempts at a fix for the start of round beneficial effect removal for the Death Dog. At this point, I'm not quite sure under which specific circumstances it is not working. It would be helpful to know more about the setup and scenarios you have found where it is not working. I can report it to our QA team and they can attempt to repro internally and potentially get it logged to be fixed.

The assassin death dog passive seems to be working. It says removes up to 2 beneficial effects each turn. In PvP it is hard to determine if it has removed buffs.I tried it in the cosmos and it works.
I also think he works correctly when I use him in PvP. Of course he does not remove beneficials as often as he does if you face him in the enemy team, but that's a different story.
Sad but true. I still hope for a quick solution. I mean the screens are available in different languages, it is just a problem of assignment.

Magus Soulless Demon...meh. Will focus on getting a few for sacrifice and getting Lilith frags to get another Lilith soul (hopefully get either Gunner or Sentinel).
Soul Trade sounds interesting. Hopefully it is a means to get some characters people need or are looking for.
And most important to note, no signs of Night City in this teaser.
I had high hopes that Night City would be coming this month. Hopefully October. I wonder if the Beast might become available during the soul trade.

What about the background image? It usually is the background for next Eddie's wallpaper, but I don't recall any album, single or tour cover with spears. Most I can think of is The Trooper or Alexander, but they obviously can't be.
Maybe it's for Icarus? That doesn't have anything to do with the Flight of Icarus single.
It's likely related to the last event of the month The Lighting Strike of the Baroness or could be related to Judgement Day. But at the same time, the background does look a lot like the background of the Alexander the Great wallpaper.

I tried him in the arena without shards. The opponent team had so many yellow buffs, I didn’t see him remove any. I don’t know if he works correct or not.
Other story is assassin bomber boy. His special move doesn’t give extra turns. I used him in one of the last events and he never gave an extra turn. Other players experienced the same.
All the buff removers, like everything, work better if the AI is controlling it because the AI gets that accuracy boost.
I see Asset on defense teams removing gold buffs on my team every turn.. yet my Asset on attack does it maybe once ever 4 turns.
