Night City A.K.A BULLSHIT CITY

Almost 3 years of waiting for next chapter "Night City" and what? It's one big bullshit. I collected most Eddie's, powerfull characters like Liliths and all for nothing because Night City difficulty is f****d up. Most enemies killed with one shoot ( They training with One Punch Man ?), need spend ironite if I want some progress. I stuck on hard difficulty and its frustrating because Im big fan of Iron Maiden band. Have all 16 studio albums, 4 live albums and another cd's is coming. I have been on few concerts. And now i cant please with this game because unbalanced difficulty. I even spend some money to buy ironite and events souls. But who cares about fans and this game, we need more events with low Chance to get new characters ( P2P - Pay to play?). :mad:

Feajy2, please post your game ID and someone may be of some help. Do you have IE and assassin demon spawn.
? Do you have Horus and the prisoner, those were 2 popular combo teams.

Post your game name so we can look at you roster and where exactly are you having trouble? Is there a stage or achievement you are trying to unlock? The difficulty is there for sure but it can be overcome as well.

As someone said, Iron Eddie paired with Prisoner and Assassin Demon spawn will get you through the vast majority of levels of you have them. Night City is certainly beatable, just not yet as easily farmable as the others.

There's many ways to beat NC. I don't recall which characters I've used since I've swapped a lot. But for almost all levels and skulls missions I've predominantly used pom eddie. If you've got 2 or 3 sets of energy talismans you can use his future power ability pretty much every round which is incredibly handy as it provides invincibility for all toons. Plus his future basic has a decent chance for extra turns. I think I've paired mostly with Sekhmet.

I have nowhere near any of the top tier characters, Only the Prisoner (Immortal) and G COTD (Nightmare and Invis) plus using alot of Doomsday Eddie from troopers seems to do the job even on Madness, as long as stun, crave, vanish and Invincibilty proc you can always win

No doubt about it the levels are hard and they get harder as you go through, especially if you do not have the characters mentioned in this thread. As others have said Assassin Demon Spawn (failry easy to get compared to Prisoner) and Iron Eddie (again, usually OK to get as only a four star) are a decent team for sure. U did the early levels with a team based around them then I switched to a stun based team with Horus and Prisoner with DDE (again DDE is reasonably easy to get as a four star). There are other teams I am sure but those are the teams I used.

Oh if only DDE was easy to get! Been spending a heeeaaaaapppp of souls hoping for him and prisoner. No luck so far.... But one day!

Absolutely true. I also made some good experiences with Hallowed Eddie, Prisoner and Shekmet. So there are a couple of teams that make night city beatable.

here i am playing since May last year and still no navigator iron eddie or beast eddie but i have found 5(and sacrificed all but 1)DDE

You know i kinda have to agree on some of this, night city is a HUGE difficulty spike, now idk how this works but im assuming u unlock it after hell normal, going from fighting 4 stars to maxed out 5 stars is huge, i though dragon kings were hard till i fought an assassin hellraiser with his gunner chopper buddies.

Night city seems to mainly encourage u to use a different team than ur average team, read opponents and adapt, and to do that u throw money at the game.

But i have to ask, if this is normal night city, how am i supposed to kill a single trickster on madness?

Night city overall is quite easy with a few key toon. My team was DDE, Horus, and prisoner. Another popular team was IE and assassin demon spawn with another toon. Sekhmet was also popular. The key was to try and permastun your opponents and the battle was won. Without those toons it would be a challenge to win.

I used
Icarus - Destiny/Shell
DDE - Fate/Angel
Prisoner-Primordial

Lots of power generation, quick Fury.
Only had issues a few times but I used this combo most.

Disregarding the difficulty (which I agree is too great)... the biggest "FU" to players if the lack of good new rewards and the fact that gold payouts are HALF or less of what Underworld provides. And.. there's not a single good "Gain XP and Gold" farmable battle since all the "bosses" are placed 1 battle levels. It's as if they specifically designed it to NOT forward player progress. Once complete, if you don't need Nightmare or Ruin talismans, there's absolutely no reason to ever visit it again.

Night City is the first world/dungeon launched AFTER relics.

Even with key toons, you can't clear without status improved by relics.

I guess it is to be that hard, to be a stage for end gamers.

Amarthir declared a Spam Stun tactic I used the whole way and still use on the Skull Quest. Iron Ed purple demon spawn and prisoner leaves them all helpless. Blast through using these and a few ironite revives on Boss levels. No problemo.

my build was Eternity eddie with gunner talismans and then samurai eddie... that was all i needed really
the additional toon was alchmist with boost talismans and prisoner with gunner talismans (just fast fury generation really)

the only tough battles were the class specific battles

sentinel was tough but now a days we have sustain+warlord talismans combo to makeshort work of anything FFE + horus and ur looking at perma stun city
(my old build was alliance general and quake talisman blast them with 75% stun chance then steal power rince and repeat lol)

warrior was eazy with phantom eddie on nightmare talisman spamming perfect sleep+vanish

magnus was time consuming but nothing get thru M Lilith anyways

gunner was double G Lilith + Hallowed Eddie was super easy

assassin was eternity eddie + VHE + wrath(or beel) + beast

I ground out NC Madness with-
Phantom Eddie- (Venom + Immortality)
Horus- (Eternity-Mystical at that)
Minazuki- (Oracle)

Except for Killer Prime where I used Eternity Eddie to mark him to hell and 1 turn kill him. (Sentinel Banshee may help here too)

Admittedly not the most common talismans or characters, so Prisoner and Demon Spawn may be a better choice

I was farming 3star evo rune with this

Eternity Eddie/Wrath is my go to combo for Brave New World. One mark will shred a titan shield.

My main issue with Night City is that on madness (and even some stages on hard) the enemies can wipe out my entire team in a single turn. Since I don't have PoM Eddie or anyone else who can make my entire team invincible, I just don't have any way of countering this. Even when I'm able to kill 1 or 2 enemies in the first turn, I still face the risk (or inevitability in some cases) of Eddie being 1-shotted and being unable to continue without blowing through ironite.

Horus with Future talismans or an ally that boosts Accuray helps in a lot of levels. He quite often stuns the whole enemy team. Obvious for Night city is Horus + Prisoner.

Doesn't work when there is no Prisoner and they have cleaners like the Assassin Hellhounds but maybe you got someone to disable passives? If you don't have the Prisoner maybe Beast Eddie?

What also works great at the moment is the combination Assassin Banshee + Blocker as it renders you nearly invicible for the time being. Best is Magus Lilith with destiny talismans.

But yes: There are a few key characters that make your life much easier in Night City and of course relics help a ton.

I do have The Prisoner, but I'm a long way from any of the Powerslave gods. I've been debating between Horus and Sekhmet for my first ones, and I hadn't thought of putting Futures on Horus. With that in mind I think I'll probably go for him when I have enough Frontier coins. Thanks for the advice, Hold.

Any other stunner? Corrupt General would stun great as well ... but never tried him in NC, so don't know how reliable he is. But he could carry Future ralismans as well ... might be worth a shot ...

Yep, I only just got enough for Horus and am totally happy I got him. Helps with PVP and PVE! That said, do you have eternity eddie? There is a trick which many people used to grind out wins in NC, with him and sekhmet.

Another combo that might work is if you have Iron Eddie and the Assassin Demon Spawn. The Demon Spawn is quite low level and I had to spend a while levelling it up. But Crave for 3 turns is amazing against the healers as most of the NC dont have immunity. As soon as they heal, theyre dead instead!

Im still slowly working my way through hard. I keep getting distracted by events, lol. Can't auto it with my team, but with crave and horus, its just a case of methodically working through it.

Hah, I've been running the C. General with Futures for some time now, and somehow it just never occurred to me to partner him with The Prisoner in Night City. I Just tried your idea on hard and was amazed at how much easier it became. With both the General and Breeg Eddie using Energy talismans and switching in Hallowed Eddie to help with stuns and accuracy, the enemies rarely even got to take a turn and had no power when they did!

I've considered getting Sekhmet for that reason, but I'm guessing that they'll be removing the extra turn from Eternity Eddie's revenge move or at least making it no longer guaranteed. But I've found that I can pull similar shenanigans by switching in Clansman Eddie, whose fury move also gives the whole team an extra turn. I think I'll spend my Frontier coins on either Horus or one of the Liliths. As for the demon spawn, that's another great idea I hadn't considered. Crave would be a perfect counter to those blue and green rollerskate sluts. Don't have Doomsday Eddie, but I probably have someone who can extend debuffs to help keep crave active.

Dont go the liliths as you get those from regular events (I've gotten 2, unfortunately both gunner, in the past few months). Save up from the gods. And for extending the demon spawns crave, you cant go past my main man - Hallowed Eddie! AoE + steal buffs + extend beneficial. I still love him, even if he did get a bit of a nerf recently.
