Nice! I've been to Bratislava and Košice several times and Trenčín once. I'd love to visit Slovakia again!

I do work in IT, but it has nothing to do with why I've visted Slovakia.

My first trip was in 2001, when I visited Munich, Vienna, Budapest, and Bratislava. I needed to be in Vienna and I figured I should check out some places around it. Bratislava is only an hour away, so why not? I also went to an HC Slovan hockey game there.

I also lived in Budapest for a year and a half (2010-2011). While I was there, I made a couple of trips to Košice with friends, a few trips to Bratislava to see bands and for the Christmas market, and a trip to Trenčín to see Zdeno Chára show off the Stanley Cup. I'm a Boston Bruins fan, and Miroslav Šatan is my favorite player.

He used to be a killer in his days! it's a shame that he ended up his national career with arguing with Zdeno and the coach. our team is worth nothing without these old stars...
Still looking forward to the world cup here in switzerland next year(my son is 3 now so i can finally take him to a game).
