Agreed. First thing i saw that new feature i thought to myself: Why couldn't they just grey them out?!
Now i have to keep looking for an evolved version every time i think of upgrading one (yes i can't be bothered to learn them all). veeeeeeery confusing. not mentioning the fact, how confusing must that be for new players, who don't read the forums. I personally would probably sell alot of valuable talismans thinking "this one is S#%t. the other one gives me 2 stats"....

Why the heck did warrior Trolls slot get changed to red?! Thats just plainly stupid move...: All purple sets need 3 for the bonus. i for example used to play him with a purple+green 3 set. now im forced to use a red set (of which the 3ers are all useless). so i end up with 2 ref tals and 1 dead slot. whats the logic behind that?!!!
As for me the devs made some easy choices here - they wanted people to use more variety of talis - not just fierce and overwhelming ones - and they did brilliant job! Why reducing the stats on freezing ones or paralysis from 35% to 12%? Was THAT MUCH already? At least to me they hardly worked - I have one set of freezing installed in CG Now after reducing ALL remaining freezing and so paralysing ones was drained in bog... Who needs a talis which are supposed to work once per year? I dunno... But not me for sure... I am pitty just money and so mats spent on them...
So are fierce still the best??? Whats the current best thing...
Im not gonna waste my valuable time that i can spend educating myself on reading 83 pages about a silly update...
How are skilled and sorcery even an option. They do not give more att or magic and have no hp. A character is more powerful and survivable with the tailismans that give hp as well as att or magic. Since the amounts of att and magic are the same. Unless a toon skill works on max mr or def. but you can get the same mr or def raises from tailismans with hp on them.
Extra hp deals with both magic and att damage as well as true damage making hp still the most important stat in pve as well as in pvp.
So still do not see a reason for a tailisman that only provides secondary stats without hp.
And a tailisman that procs only once a fight and that doesn't effect bosses doesn't seem as usfull as focusing on whatever damage type you toon uses.
How am i wrong?

I feel like I just started the game now. My Only character that still performs right is my Carriage Rider Eddie. I can finally level up a side character to five now, and am at a loss. I felt so good about the game last week. I'm glad they are working on, I'm glad I can get 3* evo shards now, but I'm so lost on talismans now.

- To choose a Talisman is like a blind test for noob players (but we have a google spreadsheet to build characters...)
- Drop rate for Ironite is low now on secret levels
- Freeze Talisman is useless now (12% really???), in 80 SoT no freeze, nothing, nada, walou, niet, ништа, דבר, hiçbir şey, τίποτα, 沒什麼, 何も, bullshit, rien...
- LoL Dungeon is only usefull for colored 3* Evo Shards
- SE Fury is more useless than VE.
- And I'm honored to give the Darwing Awards to This DUMMY PIECE OF SHIT IA!!!

It's a good deal between to drop more 3* rainbow Evo Shard and 3* Rainbow Evo runes.
I have 2 freeze talisman sets on my Magus Golden Sun and it still works well
I had the feeling it works more than the 12% advertised and started keeping track. I'm counting CR's basic AOE and am currently at 20/63 freezes. Many in a sow sometimes too, but I didn't have the time to play many matches manually.

I disagree on freeze. Half the time I'm fighting alone with my CR and I sustain the round mostly because of his freeze. Mine doesn't seem nerfed
I don't know why you speak in my language but keep it in English because of others :P well, in my case, stunt is lowered but still does a hell of a job, and freeze also doesn't seem so bad... And mandatory lowering MR is actually a huge buff for me since my main line-up is mostly magus-sentinel :D

Just a feedback about the drop chance of coloured 3* shards. Yesterday I spent my normal SoT plus 3 refills in LoL X and got only one 3* coloured. Is that chance right? You wrote the chance for 3* coloured shards would be greatly increased, and I didn't see that :(
Also, since rare souls now are really rare, I say it would be fair enough to increase the odds of getting a 4* or 5* toon. Now they can be obtained only by buying, secret locations or trooper badges, so just imagine how frustrating is to get a "rare" soul and getting a 3* Dog of War for the 564x time... It's really frustrating, expecially for players like me that don't have a premium toon.

One question: will the rng on rare souls be adjusted because the drop rates on rare souls seems to be non existent.

Completely agree. I can see colored evo shards being the bottleneck now – I guess there’s always something. I ran 80 sands in LoL 8 & 9 and didn’t get any colored evo shards. I ran 80 sands this morning in Battlefield > Kill Time > Madness and got 5 3* rainbow evo shards.
Just an observation at this point. Curious to see what others are finding in LoL.
Just tried the beast on madness post update -yeah, as others have said, too damn hard!
I went in with Pharaoh Eddie, Allied General, Warrior Troll, CR Eddie and Soldier Eddie (all 5*s and maxed talismans) and lost 3 times!
I'm sure I can rotate other characters and figure out how to win without revives, but this is kind of ridiculous. That's a decent team, and I don't know how newbies are going to beat him as they probably won't have their characters developed like that when the face him.
Unless your goal is to force ironite revive spending to defeat him, you may want to dial him back a bit :)

Always have to revive - typically once, so one of these days I'll beat it, but a new team won't have a chance
Still, even if you revive six times, you've technically made it through it, and that's what newbies will do
After so many people complaining here - especially the ones that got this update earlier - I was a bit scared and tried to farm as much as possible because the madness level seem to be unbeatable and so on.
They talked so much bullshit. Maybe their characters weren't build balanced so they got effected really hard and they don't have any plan b.
But for me this update is great! I could get so many rainbow shards that from earlier stand point "who will be worthy every few months to be the next chosen one to have 5 stars" to the new stand point "I just leveled one up to 5 stars and soon there will be more" now my problem shifts to a luxury problem that I have not enough time to play all of them fast enough to level 100 until the next (few) will be on 5 stars as well. What I also really like is the list of the changelog with all detailed effects and where what rune will drop and so on. Got me so much faster to all the things I was waiting for weeks or months. Great job from the developers! I really like it! - I would have posted this earlier, but I don't have time left besides working and playing LOTB ;)
You come off as rude but maybe it's the way I read your post. But anyways the game is way harder then it use to be. And I understand why people like myself complain about the update. Bcuz after months of getting use to the game and liking certain parts about it.The developers decided to change the whole platform of the game that was uncalled for. Not just the little changes like the drop rates that needed to be fix. But things that were never a main issue. And as far as the game goes currently it's ok with the drop rate improvement. But other then that i don't think I need to congratulate or praise the developers for doing something that should have been done along time ago.

I think they should be congratulated, as it wasn't their mess. They're cleaning up the mess of the old devs. Also, the changes to the character's and talismans may not have seemed necessary to you, but think of it this way: would you rather have this happen now so you can play around with new combinations and teams to find the most effective ones, or would rather they made these changes on the day pvp is released (when you imply it would be necessary)? If these changes happened at the same time as pvp you wouldn't know just how much your favorite characters were affected and would be at a huge disadvantage.
So I do think these changes were very necessary now rather than later. You may still disagree, but I guarantee you would singing a different tune if it happened on the same day as pvp's release.
Right, exactly. From the start, I've been leveling up various characters and changing up the combinations of them with other characters and seeing how things work out. When a character reaches maximum (for now) level, I put it to the side and work with a new one. I target having 3 characters leveling up in any sort of battle when possible plus one borrowed trooper. At least several times a week I find combinations that work fantastic in specific situations, and of course ones that don't work all that well.
I didn't have much to say about the game positive or negative until the update was happening and now I'm impressed with how well the changes are working out.
Now I'm comfortable with putting money into this because it's NOT the game it was, a game where players without work and way too much time on their hands could load up with a couple of talisman types that were far too overpowered as well as a few characters that were OP as well, and those same players just hit auto-play without any thought of balanced characters and other sets of them for varying situations. It would have really sucked to have that lame crap going on in PvP.
Now it's a game with much more depth and people need to break out of a single tactic to play well.
There are 2 big problems for me now after the update:
No more 1*, 2* and 3* red evo runes, they never drop, never !!!!
The 3* coloured evo shards, they almost never drop too !!!!
Someone know where I can find those things ????
